Obama's attorney general choice has Scranton ties

Holder Jr., reportedly at the top of President-elect Barack Obama’s list of attorney general candidates, prosecuted one of Northeast Pennsylvania’s most infamous corruption cases.Mr. Holder is Mr. Obama's top choice to be the next attorney general and aides have gone so far as to ask senators whether he would be confirmed, The Associated Press reported Tuesday, citing an Obama official and people close to the matter.
